Its herd is Angus-based, mixed with French Blue, Shorthorn, Holstein and Jersey cattle, and the farm has worked organically since 2004. Individual cuts sell from the farm's freezers by appointment, and whole, half and quarter beef is sold by order, cash or check.

Fruit Acres Farm Market & U-Pick is a 200-acre fruit farm with a farm market in Coloma, Michigan. The market opens in June with strawberries and blueberries and carries the farm's own apples, pears and cider into October, along with homegrown pumpkins, mums, local honey, maple syrup and jams. The u-pick orchard, at a second address on Friday Road, has sweet cherries in mid-June, tart cherries in late June, peaches in August and apples from September. U-pick did not open in 2026 because of a limited tree fruit crop.

Little Pistol Farms is a family-run produce farm and pumpkin patch on 29 acres in Oshtemo Township, on the west edge of Kalamazoo, Michigan. It grows more than 50 varieties of produce, starting with asparagus and berries in early summer and moving on to peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, beans and melons. In fall, visitors pick their own pumpkins in the field or buy pre-picked pumpkins, squash, straw bales and corn stalks at a self-serve farmyard stand. Admission is free, and hay wagon rides run on weekends for a small fee.

Long Family Orchard, Farm & Cider Mill is a family farm, cider mill and pumpkin patch in Commerce Township, Michigan, worked by the Long family since 1876. Drive-thru produce stands sell asparagus from May to June and sweet corn and summer vegetables from July to Labor Day. The cider mill and farm market sell fresh-pressed cider, cinnamon sugar donuts, apples and mums daily through Thanksgiving Eve with no admission charge. From mid-September to November 1, a Fun Farm ticket covers the corn maze, jumping pillows, petting farm and a hayride to the u-pick pumpkin patch.

Montrose Orchards is a 150-acre fruit farm and farm market in Montrose, Michigan, founded in 1913 and run by the Hill family since 1926. The market sells more than 20 apple varieties including Honeycrisp, Gala and Pink Lady, along with pears, apple cider, cider donuts, pies and other bakery items, and there is u-pick blueberries from mid-July into early September. Harvest season hours are daily 9 am to 6 pm from mid-July through October. On fall weekends a 25 to 35 minute hayride to the pumpkin patch costs $7 per person, children 3 and under free, with cider and donuts included.
