Lazy AA runs a working bed-and-breakfast built around horses, about 10 miles west of Kokomo. Lobenstein Farm

Luedtke Blueberry Farms LLC

Wheatfield, IN

Luedtke runs a straightforward u-pick blueberry operation in Wheatfield, open daily 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the summer harvest. Corinne Luedtke oversees the farm, which also sells baked muffins alongside the fresh berries. Call ahead before driving out, since picking hours shift with the weather and how heavy the bushes are running that week.

Lyles Station

Princeton, IN

Lyles Station preserves one of Indiana's most significant pre-Civil War Black settlements, a farming community that grew to roughly 800 residents by 1880 with its own post office, rail station, school, two churches, and a lumber mill.
