Bergmann Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch

Haysville, KS

Bergmann's has grown pumpkins on this Haysville farm for more than 30 years and cut its first corn maze in 2001. The maze has since grown to 15 acres, the largest cut in the Wichita area, with inflatables, a trike track, tunnels, pony rides, and carnival games spread around it. There's no gate fee, but individual activities are priced separately.

Bohemian Hills Corn Maze

Minneapolis, KS

Bohemian Hills cuts a corn maze into the fields outside Minneapolis every fall, one of the smaller family-run mazes scattered across central Kansas. The one piece of advice that comes up again and again from past visitors: wear old shoes, since the paths turn to mud fast after rain. Beyond the maze itself, there's not much pretense here — it's a field, a path, and an afternoon outdoors.

Corn Maze at the Buffalo Bill Cultural Center

Oakley, KS

The corn maze at the Buffalo Bill Cultural Center runs alongside the center's exhibits on Buffalo Bill's scouting days, the Western cattle trails, and the ghost town of Sheridan, at the site's Oakley home on US-83. School groups, clubs, and families can book hayrides through the maze in addition to touring the bronze sculpture and rock and fossil displays inside.

Crow Haven Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch sets up behind the car wash on Highway 36, inside the Bird City limits in far northwest Kansas. The season runs weekends in October, with a corn maze, pumpkin patch, barrel train rides, inflatables, and concessions. The farm also books birthday parties and school tours by request.

Indy Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Independence, KS

Indy Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze, run by Kevin and Amber Snyder in Independence, combined a pick-your-own pumpkin patch with a corn maze the family cut to spell out a prize — solve it and win a free pumpkin. The grounds also had a corn bin, a bounce house, and a gift shop selling cider, popcorn and other treats.

KC Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Gardner, KS

KC Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze started when the Berggren family began the patch outside Gardner in 2003, two years after settling in the Kansas City area. The corn maze is cut each year into a new design — past years have included the KU Jayhawk — and the grounds add a jumping pillow, a rock-climbing wall, a petting zoo with piglets, and the Yellow Brick Road train ride on weekends.

Rigney Farms cuts a corn maze into their Louisburg fields every fall, alongside U-pick sweet corn, pumpkins, and a small refreshment stand. The farm also books birthday parties, school tours, and even weddings around the maze season. It's a working farm hosting an event, not an event venue dressed up as a farm — cash or check only at the stand.
