Stony Creek Orchard & Cider Mill in Romeo has been family owned and operated by the Ross family since 1939 — a quaint old farm of white barns, antique tractors, and 300-foot pines with no admission fee. Fall weekends bring u-pick apples and red and black raspberries, hot donuts straight from the Donut House, cider pressed on the farm's own mill, handmade frozen pies, moonlight hayrides, and school outings.

Hy's Cider Mill is a family apple orchard and cider mill in Bruce Township, Michigan, opened by Hyman and his family in the fall of 1973. It opens Saturdays and Sundays only, from mid-September to early November, 11am to 6pm, with u-pick apples until 5pm. A wagon ride carries pickers to the orchard, where 13 apple varieties ripen in turn, from McIntosh and Gala in mid-September to Fuji and Golden Russet in late October. The mill store sells cider by the half gallon and gallon, plain and cinnamon sugar donuts, and caramel apples.
