Fourth-generation cow-calf operation in Oreana, an hour southeast of Boise in the Owyhee Mountains, run by Seth and Elizabeth Thomas and Logan and Kristin Thomas. Commercial black Angus graze from 2,700 to over 7,500 feet in elevation across the ranch's high country for 85% of their lives before finishing on home-grown grass, alfalfa, and a little corn. Beef ships nationwide every Tuesday, with local delivery and pickup in the Treasure Valley.
