Mitch and Brecca started Hipwell Ranch in 2010 in the Owyhee Mountains outside Oreana, raising grass-fed beef, chicken, and pork with no antibiotics, added hormones, or GMO feed. The couple sells direct to Boise, Meridian, and Eagle customers, delivering meat and eggs from their own soil-focused pastures rather than through a middleman. It's a young operation by ranching standards, but a working one from day one.
