Shaka Moa Eggs comes from Maili Moa, the cage-free egg farm Mark Takaki opened in Waiʻanae in 1998 as Hawaii's first commercial cage-free operation. The farm meets FDA, USDA, and Global Animal Partnership standards and sells fresh eggs on-site Monday-Saturday, 7:30am-2pm, as well as through Foodland, Whole Foods, KTA, Tamura Super Market, and other island grocers.
