Ka'ala Farm is a cultural learning center in Wai'anae maintaining 40 lo'i kalo (taro patches) across 97 acres of restored indigenous agricultural land. All kalo and produce is returned to the community — Wai'anae food banks and kūpuna first — while over 3,000 visitors a year get hands-on with the lo'i, hear the mo'olelo of Hāloa, and learn the traditional Hawaiian land tenure worldview of aloha 'āina.
