Lions Gate Farms grows 100% Kona coffee and macadamia nuts on 15 acres in South Kona, on the slopes of Mauna Loa, with heirloom coffee trees more than eighty years old processed in a mill dating to 1942. The Kona Coffee Farmers Association certifies the coffee as 100% original. Free farm tours let visitors crack their own macadamia nuts and sample tropical fruit grown on-site; open daily 9am-5pm off Highway 11 near the 105-mile marker.
