About This Farm
Rooster Farms has grown certified organic Kona coffee in South Kona since 1974, making it the oldest organic Kona coffee farm in the state. Ed and Tara took over from founder Mike Craig in fall 2015, bringing new growing methods that won the farm the 2016 Kona Coffee Cultural Festival's Cupping Contest. The small operation picks, wet-mills, and roasts nearly every step on site, also raises organic turmeric, and runs daily farm tours by appointment.
