Hamakua Christmas Tree Forest grows choose-and-cut Portuguese and Arizona cypress on open-air fields along the Hamakua Coast, started in 2015 by Rich and Nancy Bradwell. Reservations run July through December, with a $20 Forest Family Ticket credited toward whichever tree you pick and cut yourself; potted trees and delivery are also available.
