Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch has farmed on Highway 66 outside Longmont since 1993 and earned USDA Certified Organic status in 2003, growing more than 100 varieties of vegetables and pumpkins. McCauley Family Farm operated for years on 40 irrigated acres in Boulder County, raising about 4,500 meat chickens a year along with pigs and sheep on land it worked to regenerate through biodynamic and permaculture methods under Marcus McCauley. Cody Jurbala and Melissa Ogilvie started Speedwell Farm & Gardens in 2017, converting leased Boulder backyards into micro-plots before joining the Treehouse Farm Collective north of Boulder. YA YA Farm & Orchard sits on a century-old homestead outside Longmont first planted in 1896 by Percy and Jennie Goss. The 8-acre orchard now holds roughly 1,000 fruit trees -- heirloom and newer apple varieties, cherry, plum, pear, and wine grapes -- with a farm stand, cider, alpacas, and u-pick days by reservation.

Long Shadow Farm has raised lamb, pork, beef, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and quail in the foothills outside Berthoud since 2007, using pasture-raised methods with no antibiotics or hormones.
