We are one of the few dairies in the world that leaves the calves with their mothers after birth for at least 5 months. We also feed no grain to our cows. We have an onsite processing facility.

Berthoud

Desiderata Ranch is a 20-acre farm and event venue along the Little Thompson River in Berthoud, founded in 1981 and rebuilt after the 2013 flood tore through the property. It still grows organic produce sold from the farm stand while hosting weddings and gatherings on the same ground.

Longmont

Plowshares Community Farm is a diversified organic CSA farm in Longmont growing vegetables with a focus on soil health. Members pick up shares Wednesdays 4-7 p.m. at the farm, with a second drop-off at Spectra Logic in Boulder.

Boulder

Boulder Creek Winery poured reds and whites from a tasting room on Odell Place from 2003 until it closed in December 2015. U-pick sunflowers run in August before the fall festival takes over September 23 through October 31.

Longmont

YA YA Farm & Orchard sits on a century-old homestead outside Longmont first planted in 1896 by Percy and Jennie Goss. The 8-acre orchard now holds roughly 1,000 fruit trees -- heirloom and newer apple varieties, cherry, plum, pear, and wine grapes -- with a farm stand, cider, alpacas, and u-pick days by reservation.

Munson Farms has worked the same stretch of land at 75th and Valmont since 1976, when it started as a two-acre corn stand on the Pearl Street Mall. The operation has since grown past 100 acres, raising sweet corn, tomatoes, peaches, spinach, and pumpkins — most of it picked the day it's sold. The farm stand runs daily, 9 to 6, through the season. Fifty years in, the sweet corn still carries the local reputation.

Boulder

Hoot 'n' Howl is a small on-farm market on Jay Road in Boulder, growing on leased Boulder County Agricultural Open Space land since 2009 as part of the Gunbarrel Growers' Association. It sells vegetables and melons direct from the farm and runs a credit-based CSA program.

RJ Steele runs a horse-drawn carriage service out of Mead, working show-quality Percheron horses across a fleet that ranges from Victorian carriages to limousine-style coaches and wagonettes seating up to twelve.
