About This Farm

Surfing Goat Dairy has milked goats on the slopes of Haleakalā in Kula, Maui, since Thomas and Eva Kafsack founded the operation in 1999. The 42-acre dairy makes more than two dozen handmade goat cheeses, including mango chutney and macadamia nut flavors that have won national awards. Visitors can feed and pet the goats, watch milking demonstrations, and on select days milk a goat themselves. Free cheese tastings run daily, and the farm is one of only seven goat dairies in Hawaii.
