Next to Nature Farm, run by Chad and Megan Gilliland since 2012, keeps goats, chickens, peacocks, and bee hives outside Leavenworth. Their downtown storefront at 624 Cherokee Street holds what they call Kansas's only honey tasting bar, pouring more than a dozen infused and creamed honey varieties alongside raw local honey. The farm also teaches classes on beekeeping, canning, and small-scale agriculture.
