John Lau is the fifth generation to run this 1,100-acre ranch outside Soda Springs, founded in 1882 by one of four families the Mormon church sent to settle the area. The farm holds Idaho's Century Farm designation and raises grass-fed, grass-finished beef and lamb, plus wool yarn and felt from its own sheep, with livestock watering from natural springs. No added hormones or antibiotics. Products sell at farmers markets in Idaho Falls, Logan, and Salt Lake City.
