About This Farm
Kuaiwi Farm has grown certified organic Kona coffee in Captain Cook since a husband-and-wife team bought the 5-acre property in 1977 and converted it from conventional to organic. Some of their coffee trees are a century old, and the farm's beans won the 2007 Gevalia Kona Coffee Cupping Competition. Alongside coffee, they grow macadamia nuts, avocados, bananas, and citrus. Farm tours run Wednesdays and Sundays, 10am to noon, followed by tastings of jellies, mac butter, and chocolate on the lanai.
