Howden Farm, run by Bruce Howden in the Housatonic Valley since 1939, is where the classic Howden Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin variety was developed. The farm still grows pumpkins and sweet corn as its anchor crops, with pick-your-own blueberries and raspberries in summer, and keeps a Victorian farmhouse bed and breakfast on-site.
