Berkshire Grown runs its Winter Farmers' Markets monthly, November through April, at the Housatonic Community Center in Great Barrington, a season it started in 2009 to keep local farms selling through the low-revenue months. Shoppers find winter squash, root vegetables, apples, meat, cheese, honey, and maple syrup, plus live music, and SNAP/HIP shoppers get up to $30 in matched Market Match funds per visit.
