About Gunkel Orchard's Fruitstand

Gunkel Orchards Fruit Stand is the roadside stand of Gunkel Orchards, a stone fruit grower near Maryhill outside Goldendale, Washington. The orchard grows Maryhill cherries, apricots, peaches and Honey nectarines along the Columbia River Gorge, with cherries starting in mid-June and peaches in mid-July. Daniel Gunkel founded the orchard in 1936, and his grandsons Dan and Ron run it as the third generation.
