Hood — since 1880 the family has raised pasture-fed beef and pork, harvested seasonal fruits and vegetables, and crafted small-batch jams, pickles, and pies. The farmstand next to the historic antique schoolhouse on Mill Creek Road sells USDA-inspected cuts, orchard cherries, pears, and apples, and fresh-baked goods, with hay grown on-farm and no added hormones or antibiotics.
