Petals and Pines is a U-pick flower and Christmas tree farm on almost 19 acres outside Tremonton, started in 2023 by Bryan and Jaems Brandon after Bryan's F-16 posting at Hill Air Force Base brought them to Utah. Visitors wander rows of zinnias, dahlias, cosmos, and sunflowers, say hello to a pair of mini horses, and can book a Sunrise U-Pick Flower morning or a Picnic in the Poppies. Ten of the farm's acres are planted with Christmas trees, one acre added each year.

This is Central Milling's Collinston mill, at 14400 N Highway 38, one of three Utah milling sites the company runs alongside Logan and Richmond's Gilt Edge mill. Central Milling has ground organic flour and whole grains here for the artisan baking trade since the 1960s, more than a century after the company itself was founded in 1867.

Valcarce Farms sells peaches off Highway 89 in Perry, the way it has for decades: picked fresh each morning, never refrigerated, sold the same day. John Peter Valcarce planted 16 acres of peaches and 2 of apricots across 17 peach varieties; his daughter Susan Brough runs the stand now. The stand opens at 10am and closes at 5pm, or whenever the day's peaches sell out.

Coldwater Ranch sells 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef out of Logan, from a shop at 965 S 100 W Ste 205B. Cattle are raised without hormones, antibiotics, or vaccines, and the ranch sells cuts and bundles online for delivery or local pickup, with free ranch tours offered to anyone who wants to see how the beef gets raised before they buy it.

Central Milling has run out of 122 E Center Street in Logan since 1867, making it the oldest continuously operating company in Utah. The Logan mill turns out roughly 60 million pounds of organic flour a year, including the Red Rose brand the company has milled since 1919. Grain Craft acquired Central Milling in 2024, but the existing leadership still runs day-to-day operations.

The North Logan Pumpkin Walk started in 1983 in resident Ida Beutler's backyard and had already drawn 20,000 visitors within four years. Beutler handed the event to the city on one condition: it stays free and never advertises. It moved to Elk Ridge Park in 1992 and now lines the park's path with roughly 600 carved, lit jack-o'-lanterns alongside dozens of hand-built pumpkin and gourd scenes, running one night each October from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Sweet Deseret Farm is a licensed Grade A dairy near Pleasant View, at the base of Ben Lomond Peak, built around a herd of LaMancha dairy goats raised on 30 acres of browse. The farm sells goat milk, yogurt, eggs, and homemade soap, all inspected and certified by the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food. A small orchard of apple, peach, apricot, and plum trees rounds out the property.

Naomi Farms sits on Cache Valley ground the Meikle family has worked for more than 65 years, once a dairy and now diversified into hay, wheat, and u-pick raspberries, blackberries, and wine grapes. The vineyard finally released its first wines under the Mt. Naomi Winery label in 2025, after years of permitting work. Central Milling's Gilt Edge mill sits at 1090 W 1200 N in Richmond, on a site LDS church leaders first built as a water-powered flour mill on the Cub River back in 1866. A 60-horsepower water turbine once ran the operation, milling up to 80 barrels of flour a day. Central Milling later acquired the historic mill and still runs it as part of its organic flour network.

Richmond Harvest Market is one of the few Utah farmers markets held on an actual working farm — Rock Hill Creamery, where Pete Schropp and Jennifer Hines milk brown Swiss cows and age raw-milk wheels of Farmhouse Gouda, Dark Canyon Edam, and Wasatch Mountain Gruyère in an underground cave. The Saturday market, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. from June through October, adds local beef, farm eggs, baked goods, and crafts to the creamery's own cheese.
