Renee and Bruce Herman started this farm stand in 1991 after moving from Florida, and it's been a fixture on Elberta Avenue in Palisade for over 30 years. The signature product is Palisade peaches, alongside other seasonal fruit and vegetables, canned goods, jams, salsas, and honey. Open daily, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., June through October.

Paola Legarre planted her first lavender at Sage Creations Farm in Palisade in 2006 and has since grown it into a 10-plus-acre organic farm, nursery, and distillery. Beyond lavender, the farm grows heirloom vegetables, herbs, sweet cherries, and peaches, and sells farm-distilled essential oils and body products through its farm store and a second shop on Main Street.

Downtown Palisade shuts down 3rd and Main streets for this market, Sundays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., from the first Sunday in June through the first Sunday in October. More than 100 vendors show up, but the real draw is Palisade peaches, Freestones and Redhavens starting in late July, grown by orchards like Z's, which has farmed here more than 50 years.

Fruit Basket Orchards grows tree fruit on 32 1/2 Road in Grand Junction, in the orchard country of the Grand Valley alongside Palisade's peach and apple farms.

The Farm and Ranch Market ran for more than 35 years in the Teller Arms Shopping Center parking lot before a new Save-A-Lot forced it out; it now operates at the Cross Orchards Historic Site on F Road. Local produce, handmade goods, and live music fill Wednesday and Saturday mornings, 7:30 a.m. to noon, June through October.

Moon Farm Pumpkin Patch in Fruita pairs its pumpkin field with a petting zoo and an unusual set of collections spanning ancient history through the Old West. It's open daily through October 31st, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Fruita's market claims the corner of Peach and Aspen Avenue every Saturday, June through late October, 8:30 a.m. to noon. Growers like Clark Family Orchards and Kokopelli Farms Market bring Palisade peaches, apples, cherries, vegetables, and herbs, with live bands playing the Civic Center Park stage most weeks. It's free to attend, and SNAP and Double Up Food Bucks are accepted.

This Mesa County market runs Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon, from late spring through mid-October, at Mother's Park by the community church in Collbran. Growers here work sustainable methods on Plateau Valley's high-altitude ground, bringing in asparagus, berries, corn and pumpkins in season alongside farm eggs, preserves and baked goods.

Delta County runs its own agritourism program out of the North Fork Valley, home to what the county calls the largest organic-producing region in Colorado. Fritchman Orchards has run a fruit shed in Eckert since 1975, the fifth generation of the same family growing peaches, apples, pears, cherries, and plums on about 100 acres. The shed also carries honey, vegetables, and pumpkins from neighboring North Fork Valley farms, so a stop here covers more than just what's growing on Fritchman ground.

The Town of Cedaredge launched this Wednesday evening market in 2026, running 4 to 7 p.m. downtown through early September. It's open to local growers, backyard gardeners, bakers, crafters, and makers, a new addition to Delta County's small-town market scene on the western side of the Grand Mesa.
