Gem Orchards grows an unusually deep bench of stone fruit on 32 acres in the Emmett Valley — nine cherry varieties, nineteen peach varieties, five types of nectarine, and three apricots, plus blackberries and raspberries. Trees are kept low for ground-level picking, and the orchard runs on minimal spray with regenerative, conservation-minded practices. The operation traces back to 1997 in Weiser before planting roots in Emmett in 2015, building on the 85-year-old Benson Orchard legacy. U-pick and we-pick both run mid-June through October.

Tyler's Rocky Point Orchard sits at the base of Rocky Point in Emmett — not Melba, despite how it's sometimes listed — growing cherries, apricots, plums, apples, and peaches across roughly a dozen varieties. It's a family-operated, open-air u-pick where visitors fill their own buckets straight from the trees.
