South Glastonbury

Dondero Orchards has been in the same family for generations, growing strawberries, raspberries, peaches, apples, blackberries, blueberries, and pears on Woodland Street. East Killingly

Palazzi Orchard, run by Mark and Jean Palazzi, is a pick-your-own orchard open daily 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. from August through November or December. Free weekend hayrides run through harvest season, and the farm sells at the Danielson farmers market on Saturdays and the Putnam market on Mondays and Thursdays.
