Barre, MA

Carter & Stevens Family Farm in Barre, Massachusetts sells all-natural grass-fed beef — one cow per package, never a blend — from animals that lived their lives grazing pasture, with no dyes, preservatives, or hormones. The Herb Hill Micro-Dairy

Pepperell, MA

The Herb Hill Micro-Dairy is a diversified family farm in Pepperell, Massachusetts, 43 miles northwest of Boston, now in its 17th year as a Massachusetts-licensed raw goat's milk producer — does hand-milked twice daily on organic pasture, no hormones or antibiotics. The regenerative, holistically managed farm also sells certified organic eggs, certified organic meat chickens, and a seven-month organic vegetable CSA.

Town Line Dairy Farm

Upton, MA

Town Line Dairy Farm raises its own beef, pork, lamb, and pasture-raised chicken and turkey on land that's been in the same family for generations, going back to original owners Edward and Stephie Kuczinski. The on-site store sells the farm's meat alongside free-range eggs and a rotating stock of local goods. A pizza truck sets up on the property some summer weekends. It's a working farm rebuild, not a polished agritourism stop, and that's part of its appeal.

Walnut Lane Farm in Dudley raises what customers call the best grass-finished beef in central Massachusetts, along with pork, eggs, and raw milk, through responsible, transparent, regenerative practices. Visitors can tour the farm, meet the animals, and talk face to face with the people raising their food at the little farm store on Koebke Road.

West End Creamery and Family Farm

Whitinsville, MA

West End Creamery in Whitinsville combines an ice cream stand, mini golf course, and an Adventure Farm petting area under one roof, open daily from 10 a.m. The fall lineup adds a corn maze and harvest festival running mid-September through October.
