Wheeler's Orchard farms 200 acres on Fredonia Mountain above Dunlap, growing more than 20 apple varieties along with grapes, peaches, pears, and strawberries on the Cumberland Plateau. They press fresh, unpasteurized cider in season and run a vineyard and nursery on the same land, with pick-your-own fruit and minimal spraying. It's about an hour from Chattanooga.
