Whatley Longhorns is Lynn and Sharon Whatley's herd in Redrock, New Mexico, along the Gila River in the state's southwest corner — a Texas Longhorn adventure that began with a bottle-raised calf named Buttin who ate oatmeal cookies and followed them on walks. Every calf is halter broke and trained to work afoot, on ATV, or on horseback, with show animals, pasture art, companions, and breeding stock in the sale pen and an AI program blending old-school and modern genetics.
