Steven and Marilyn Meyerhans have run this Fairfield orchard since 1973, on land that passed from the Coffin family to the Wentworths, who planted the first trees. McIntosh apples are the specialty, with picking open September into October and the retail store running mid-August through November. A pumpkin patch rounds out the fall lineup.
