About Szalay's Farm & Market
Szalay's Farm & Market is a sweet corn farm and farm market in Peninsula, Ohio, begun as a vegetable farm in 1931 and now in its fourth generation. The market sells sweet corn and other produce from the fields along with flowers, baked goods, honey and maple syrup, and opens every day from 9am to 7pm. Outdoor eateries serve roasted corn on the cob and grilled sandwiches on weekends from June through October. In fall the farm adds a three-acre corn maze, open late September through October, plus pumpkins, home-grown apples and fresh-pressed cider.
