Sm'Apples is a u-pick apple orchard on Willeys Lake Road in Ferndale, in Whatcom County north of Bellingham. It grows 14 varieties — Honeycrisp, Fuji, Jonagold, Akane and more — priced roughly $1.00 to $1.75 a pound, and presses cider sold at $9 a gallon or $5 a half-gallon. The orchard runs cash or check only and reopens for the season in August. Bring your own bags. Call 360-318-1776.
