Salomon Farm Park sits on land Chris Salomon donated to Fort Wayne's parks department in 1996, and every fall the city turns it into a two-day harvest festival. Kids meet farm animals, ride a horse-drawn wagon, and work through hands-on chores that used to be routine farm life. Admission is free; parking runs $5 per vehicle, free for buses. The festival typically runs Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
