Saint John's Organic Farm has stayed in the same family since 1934, twenty-five miles northwest of Boise near Emmett. All 160 acres and roughly 120 dairy and beef cattle have been certified organic since 1999. Cattle eat only grass and hay, never corn or grain, and raw milk moves through a small buyer's co-op licensed by the State of Idaho. The farm also hosts tours for the College of Idaho.
