Rendleman Orchards has grown peaches, nectarines, and apples in the Shawnee National Forest since 1873, now in its fifth generation of the same family. The farm market sells the fruit fresh alongside apple butter, applesauce, honey, and baking mixes, and opens u-pick flower fields — zinnias, cosmos, mums, sunflowers — plus pumpkins each fall. The market runs Monday through Saturday 9 to 5 and Sunday noon to 5, late June through October.
