About Reid Orchards

Reid Orchards is a family fruit farm 4.5 miles east of Chetopa, Kansas, renamed in February 2024 from Brenda's Berries & Orchards. The farm grows pecans, apples, pears, Asian pears and peaches and sells them already harvested, with no pick-your-own apples in 2026. Pears and Asian pears sell from late August to late October, apples from mid-September, and cracked pecans from mid-November through February. From June 15 to December 15 the farm is open Monday through Saturday 10 am to noon and 1:30 to 5:30 pm and Sundays 1:30 to 5:30 pm. In 2026, #1 apples and pears cost $1.48 per pound, cash or check.
