Polipoli Farms
About This Farm
Polipoli Farms sits on three acres in the Waiehu foothills of Maui, where Lehia Apana and Brad Bayless grow native and Polynesian plants using agroforestry — layering ground cover, shrubs, trees, and vines the way the land was once farmed. The Native Hawaiian-owned operation turns its harvest into medicinal Hawaiian teas and farm snacks. Clearing invasive growth on the property, the owners uncovered a stone wall standing three feet high and fifty feet long, built by the people who farmed this land generations ago.
