About This Farm
Pineland Farms occupies 5,000 acres in New Gloucester, built partly on the grounds of the former Pineland Hospital and Training Center. The nonprofit runs a working farm alongside public trails for biking and nordic skiing, pick-your-own strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, and a fall corn maze and pumpkin patch. Its produce division farms more than 300 acres, and there's a natural meats operation on top of that. Self-guided tours and farmyard animal encounters run through the season.
