Phil's Farm & Butchery started in 1999 with Phil and Lucy raising poultry on pasture in rural Reno County, Kansas, without antibiotics or hormones. The operation is now a USDA-licensed, federally inspected full-service butcher shop with two storefronts — 5303 S. Whiteside Rd. in Hutchinson and 1711 W. Douglas Ave. in Wichita's Delano district — plus a stand at the Wichita Farmers Market at 21st and Ridge. Custom butchering and artisan sausage are specialties alongside their own beef and pork.
