Nugent Orchards has worked 100 acres south of Benzonia since 1918, now run by the fifth generation of the same family. The orchard grows apples and cherries, and the Fall U-Pick Market adds pumpkins, fresh-baked donuts, and wagon rides once the season turns. The family also built the Cherry Barn, an event venue for weddings on the Frankfort property, and added glamping accommodations under the Woodland North name.
