Mountain Bounty Farm is the oldest and largest CSA farm in the Sierras, an 18-acre organic farm on the San Juan Ridge near Nevada City founded by John Tecklin in 1997. Its year-round CSA delivers boxes of organic vegetables and fruit — plus seasonal fruit, flower, and mushroom shares from farm partners — to pickup locations in Nevada City, Grass Valley, Auburn, the Lake Tahoe basin, Truckee, and Reno, and the farm's land is held in perpetuity through a partnership with the Bear Yuba Land Trust.
