Started in 2001 as a pickup truck of vegetables parked behind Anodyne Coffeehouse, Kingfield now runs about 40 vendors every Sunday at MLK Park on Nicollet Ave. Produce, prepared foods, coffee, and handmade crafts fill the lot from mid-May through late October, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market won City Pages' Best Farmers Market twice and is run by the nonprofit Neighborhood Roots.
