Holmberg Orchard grows apples five miles outside Vesta in southwest Minnesota, including University of Minnesota varieties like Honeycrisp, Zestar!, SweeTango, and SnowSweet. Lee and Sindie Holmberg founded it in 1987; David and Rosie Petty took over in 2020. Alongside apples, pumpkins, squash, and a gift shop, the farm runs a corn maze, corn boat, hayride, barrel train, bounce houses, and a petting zoo, and books educational tours for school groups. Open daily 10 to 6.
