About This Farm
GrassRoots Meats raises 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef and lamb, plus pasture-raised heritage pork and organic chicken, on a ranch at the base of Wolf Creek Pass in Pagosa Springs. Lisa and Garrett Hammer took over the operation from Lisa's parents in November 2023, continuing three generations of ranching in the area.
