About This Farm
Emporia Farmers Market has run since 1982 as the main direct-to-consumer outlet for growers across a four-county area of east-central Kansas. Every product sold — produce, plants, vegetables — has to be grown or made in Kansas, no exceptions. Summer hours are Saturdays 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and Wednesdays 5 to 6:30 p.m. at 7th Avenue and Merchant Street; the market moves indoors to 2727 W. Highway 50 for winter Saturdays, November through April.
