Brothers Seth and Jonathan Cranston run this fourth-generation choose-and-cut tree farm in Ashfield, growing Balsam, Concolor, Fraser, and Blue Spruce across roughly 16,000 trees in two fields. Visitors hike out with a hand saw and cart, then pay $2 for baling on the way out. The same farm makes maple syrup and hay in its other seasons, and sells handmade wreaths at the stand. Chainsaws, drones, and dogs aren't allowed on the property.
