About Birdsong Farm
Birdsong Farm is a 24-acre certified organic vegetable farm in Garrettsville, Ohio, run by Matt Herbruck. It grows greens, herbs, root crops, garlic, squash, tomatoes and cut flowers, and has been USDA certified organic through OEFFA since 2010. The produce is sold through a CSA that runs May through November and at area farmers markets, including the Saturday market in Kent year round. In August 2025 the farm hosted an OEFFA field day on its switch to no-till growing.
