Benson Grist Mill, built in 1854 by LDS apostle Ezra Taft Benson to serve new Tooele Valley settlements, is one of the oldest standing structures in western Utah. Volunteers restored the mill starting in the 1980s and added a log cabin, blacksmith shop, and period farm equipment; it's been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1972.
