About Arethusa Farm Dairy

Arethusa Farm Dairy is a dairy farm and creamery store in Bantam, Connecticut. The farm keeps a herd of more than 300 Holstein, Jersey and Brown Swiss cows, and its dairy store sells ice cream, cheese, butter, yogurt, bottled milk and seasonal eggnog, open daily. George Malkemus and Anthony Yurgaitis bought the farm in 1999 to save it as open farmland; the Webster family first farmed it in 1868. The owners also run Arethusa al tavolo, a dairy-to-table restaurant, and Arethusa a mano, a cafe and bakery.
