Arata's Pumpkin Farm has grown pumpkins on Verde Road in Half Moon Bay since 1932, one of the oldest patches on the San Mateo County coast. Beyond the pumpkin fields, the farm runs a two-acre hay maze, a haunted barn, a petting zoo, and train, pony, and hay rides. It's open daily 9am–6:30pm through most of the season, with later Friday-Saturday hours in October.
