Anderson Apple Ranch opens for pick-your-own Red and Golden Delicious apples on the last Saturday of September and runs through October 31, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Beyond the orchard rows, the farm stand sells apple cinnamon cheesecake, caramel, and apple jalapeño jam. Call ahead during the season to check what's ripe before making the drive out to Harvest Lane.
